cartermd
One of the Mustangs' chief strengths is the depth at most positions with minimal dropoff in talent. I do look forward to the game. I hope CC can play well because HHS needs the experience of playing tough teams to prepare for the playoffs. It is hard to believe that three teams that HHS will or has played that are usually at the top are all 0-3 or 0-4 ie Bruceton, Union City, and Westview. TheBoredGuy
Actually Huntingdon and Chester County have played a lot more than twice. This year should make the total number of games 47 with Huntingdon holding a 39-7 advantage. They just skipped a few years after the '92 season. Earl Nall's website only goes back to '93, so that's all I could find
dudefan
I love high school football. I think huntingdon will win, but you have to play the game to decide. I'll be there looking for another tense matchup. How much seating does CC have? Any extra seating coming in?
TheBoredGuy
I don't know what the exact capacity is, but it's pretty big. They might bring extra seating in for the visitor's side... that's just a guess. There's a lot of room on the home side, though.
MustangCountry
I think this will be a test for both teams. Physically for Chester Co. and mentally for Huntingdon. The 'stangs can't afford to be overconfident with any team. The score might be a little closer than expected....... Just a note to the Chester Co. fans. It's good to see your team improving and stepping up. Hope you have enough seats, because most of Huntingdon will be in CC Friday night. GO BIG BLUE!!! TheBoredGuy
MustangCountry, this might be the largest crowd at a CCHS football game in years. They were already talking about how big the gate was last week for the Fayette Academy game, and Huntingdon will bring at least three times the amount of fans FA did. The atmosphere's going to be great, and I hope we have a good ball game to compliment it.
MustangCountry
BoredGuy, This will be our toughest game yet and we really look forward to it. CC is definitely the most improved team that we face all year. I hope the 'Stangs will be mentally prepared for it. I don't think that it will be a shootout for us. SShawks1
Huntington 34-chester co. 15 Might be worse. Hunington is the real deal this year. They have a shot at the state champ. Chester co. is a much improved team, but no where close to hun.
jaguarfan
Close game or not - Save me a seat I'm on the way! Go STANGS!
thechief
If Huntington brings 3x the crowd Fayette did, Chester County needs to build more bleachers. Personally, I had to stand on the field because the bleachers, both home and away, were absolutely packed last Friday.
TheBoredGuy
You bring up a good point, the chief. FA did bring a good crowd along with them. But if I know Huntingdon like I think I do, the whole freakin' town may transplant to Henderson for a few hours this Friday. Of course, what we're seeing with attendance has been the exception to the rule. The last two years, the home side would be lucky to be half-full. So there hadn't been any need to even consider adding onto the seating.
