Good luck this season

For those of you that have never played or coached at this gym you are missing a real attraction!!! The gym IS less than 70 feet long and 15 feet less at its width also. The head of the circle at both ends are within 10 feet of each other. There is about 2 feet at both ends for a base line and the sidelines have less than 12 inches before you run into a wall.

I have got a question ...... Are you talking about Richard Hardy's NEW gym? They starting using it this season. I hear it is extremely nice maybe the best in Marion County. That is just what I heard.

woodbury westside (k-8) has a tiny floor, still in use for middle school games.

the 3-point line hits the sideline above the free throw line extended.

the center circle barely fits between the top of the keys.

you have to have a special offense just for that floor.

the old auburntown gym, no longer used for high school games, is even smaller,

but it is a classic structure, with the floor in a pit.

last i knew, it was still used for elementary school games.

As far as seating capacity goes, the smallest I have ever been in is the new gym at Carroll Acadamy.

As far as court sizes go, the smallest I have ever seen is the old high school gym in New Harmony, IN. On one end, the wall is about 3 INCHES from the baseline. There are special lines to use for inbound plays on the baselines. That gym is no longer used. However, I would have loved to have seen a game there back in the day. The gym in the movie Hoosiers would be the size of UT's arena if you were to compare them.
