I have seen Jamont play on numerous occasions, and I really believe that he's the best out of TN. He is better than Tyler Smith, Corey Brewer, Shawne Williams, and Brandon Wright.

All of you big time Tyler fans should come up to Nashville and check out the Glencliff Colts.

Lets not knock Tyler until after Tuesday night and after the Sportmed Shootout where he will be playing against teams that will actually be competitive in the state this year. Don't forget that the BIRDMAN has a supporting cast that will make him shine even brighter. I'm sure that Jamont is a great player, but until he earns top honors at ABCD camp, plays on the Olympic team, and recieves the number one ranking on sites such as, for starters, NBAdraft.net, he's not on Tyler's level. So, if you're going to hate, keep it in the 'ville, while we make yet another trip to the 'boro, because let's not forget that Tyler has one more thing that Jamont doesn't have... A BIG OL' RING!!

Look, the past is the past and tyler is the past i played against tyler and jamont and in a game environment jamont is far better. Yeah you are right he might have bad grades but when you are a player of his callibur sometimes you can do that. Don't get me wrong I think jamont can be stopped but i haven't seen any one do it yet. Many people have been talking about his attitude when they need to be talking about how he is going to do this year. I didn't get a chance to go to the jamboree but i heard the kid acted a fool. Don't think he's not going to be the focus of everyteams defense. And the comment someone made about him not stepping up in the big games he almost beat mcgavock single-handedly in the playoffs but no one else even scored.

    • Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.
    • What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.
