some of the interesting matchups this week: dragon v. red devil, brother v. roadrunner, dragon v. mustang, and i'm sure many others. any comments from the left side faithful.

Ahh..you got mostly all of them..heh..If Regional Duals were on Saturday this week, Who would be going, or at least have a shot at going?

Looks like a Bartlett/Collierville finals.

The other contenders would be Germantown and Ridgeway. The others pulling up the rear.

Cordova lost their star and Houston looks like they have collapsed.

one district is dragon, roadrunner, red prince o' darkness, mustang. other district is panther, wolves, cougar and wildcat.

That only leaves 4 teams out. Are 8 teams really going this year?

yep. and the wolves lost 35 dominic to surgery and 45 ross to the big "q", even though he might be back. didn't know which "star" you were referring to. the mustang appeared to use this weekends wildcat invite as a freshman event so don't draw any conclusions based upon their results.

Here's a thought for the Region 8 experts.

 

It seems there's a lot of discussion on here that uses school mascots as code names and initials and nicknames for individual wrestlers.

 

That's fine if you want to use this forum for communicating only to other Region 8 people who know your code.

 

But if you want anyone east of Region 8 to get anything out of the discussions, you'll need to talk by using school names, full wrestler names and weight classes.

 

That's the only way the rest of us will get to be familiar with your guys and maybe give them the respect deserved.
