farragut is playing and we beat them this year 13-6 and WB swept them they are not nearly as good as the varsity

Look for William Blount to take the tourney. They have been rolling through the competition all year. I think they are apx. 23-5

maryville only beat farragut 12-7 and farragut only played william blount once, is that really being swept; i think farragut will win this weekend, the jv has only lost 4 games, maybe they are not like the varsity, but when it counts i think the young players have learned enough from the older guys to win plus there is alot of talent like lawson cheek who started in the sportsbelle classic championship game against overton for varsity and allowed three runs against a team that scored 6 runs against mccallie(he has excellent control most of the time), tyler duke throws 80 pretty consistently if not low 80s and has a really tight curveball, and michael joseph has had success for varsity also and hasnt been hit well yet, his delivery is pretty much impossible to hit, bryan powell hasnt given up a run yet in 10 innings, these guys are pretty good

I know Halls has two good pitchers on their JV team that have thrown quite a bit of varsity. Cody Phibbs is 4-1 and Zack Lawson has been a consistent closer all year. Lawson pitched a 1 hit game against Red Bank in the Trojan Classic last weekend, and hasnt blown a save that I have seen. If the sticks come around Halls will be a contender.
