CONGRATS TO THE MILAN BULLDOGS..2004 STATE CHAMPS...5-0 OVER A VERY GOOD COVINGTON TEAM...THE DAWGS WENT 4-0 IN THE TOURNEY AND GAVE UP A TOTAL OF 0 (ZERO) EARNED RUNS (1 RUN OVERALL). THAT HAS TO BE A RECORD...JUST PROVES...PITCHING AND DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Absolutely an outstanding performance at AutoZone park and without a single ER all tournament. Yes, the pitching has been excellent, the batting good, but the defense did a fantastic job shutting everyone else down. Milan looked sharp today as they plow through to win number 41 this season.

Its a great feeling to finally get to the top. We played solid defense and we scattered hits. Theres no words to explain the feeling of running to the mound with all ur teammates knowing you just won the state championship.

Thanks. Its good to now be known for baseball.. Football is everything at Milan these days. I cannot complain with it because I played both sports my whole high school career. But finally we are state champions. Thanks for all the classy posts.

Jonathon White is only a sophomore. He still has two strong years left in that arm for high school. But when he does become a senior, look for schools to be all over him.
