Who will be recruited next year?

 

Maryville has a few guys who will be college signees next year.

 

Carl Stewart and Brandon Waters will be division1.

 

Cole Mckinney needs to get quicker to be D1. He has the size and strength.

 

Lucas Tipton,Brad Merrit,Jacob Holt,Isaac Cline,John Raulston and Russell Clement will go to smaller schools.

 

TJ Brock will go to a college and play football. I wish he was playing at Maryville next year. I wish TJ the best of luck!

 

Maryville will have a few division1 players every now and then but they produce a ton of Division 2 and 3 players. They have 25 players off that 1998 team that has played college football somewhere.

I'm not trying to take a knock at you or the Maryville program, but if they have so much talent why aren't they in 5A? Just a question. I am under the impression that schools can play ABOVE their enrollment.

Maryville has 4a enrollment. Maryville has been blessed the last few years.They didn't have this kind of talent 10 years ago. If Maryville and Blount County keep growing MHS may have to go 5a one day.

Stephon Britton , Taron Henry , Kenyon Buford. All at Riverdale. QB Britton had a great run in the playoffs, WR Henry is big time playmaker, and at 6'5 330, OT Buford is an anchor on the o-line. All three were key in run to 5A State Championship in 2001.

Antoine Owens - Ezell-Harding

6'3" 220 could be the top prospect in the state next year at linebacker. Also plays tailback.

I'd keep my eye on Adarius Bowman, WR, Notre Dame. Also Steve Jones at Brentwood and Chris Russell at Hillsboro.

Speaking of Brentwood, their QB isn't bad. Austin Everson is a big talent.

Jonathan Ward and Jacob Victory will be back to lead Collinwood next year. Both players have a good chance to play D1 football after their HS days are over.

Ward was a Mr. Football finalist this year and Victory led the state in INT's with 12. Victory is also a very good receiver.

OL Gabe West from Cumberland Co. is getting a ton of recruiting attention. Being recruited by just about everyone in the SEC, ACC, and Big 12. He's 6-3, 275.

To follow-up on goeagles post About antoine Owens from Ezell is one of the top prospects in the state. His list of schools incluse georgia, penn state, and Ucla that jave made contact with him about playin at their school according to high school sports show on saturday. 6'2 220 good size and 4.6 speed.
