High School Rule

We were playing Ripley and the refs told us that we had to pull them down but Ripley wore them on their bicepts. Whats up wit this dude ?

You are correct, it must be a West TN thing. Marshall County players were told before a game with Crockett County --- Wrist Bands at the wrist and to go along with that -- socks pulled up and under you pants. Everything is different in West TN -- must be the muddy water from the mighty Mississippi affecting what little brain cells that they have !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you make a single post without taking a shot at West Tennessee? You seem to seem bitter that Crockett County has sent you home packing two years in a row in blowouts.

 

Rules should be enforced unilaterally across the state. It should not be the right of officials to decide which rules they will or will not enforce. If the rule needs to be changed, that should be decided by the TSSAA- not individual teams, players, or officials. A lack or respect for rules and regulations is one of the main problems of today's society.

The TSSAA does not set the rules. The high school rules are set by the National Federation of State High School Associations of which the TSSAA is one of some 48 members.

Does Marshall County even have a team we always beat up so bad I tought they might quit the real sport.
