I'll do one better than that. In 2002...we had two 7-3 teams in our region that didn't make the playoffs...York and Macon.

Now add insult to injury, one win will get you into the playoffs and if you have five(5) wins(not really a winning season) and don't make the playoffs you can get a bowl game approved so that you can give a % of the gate to 3333 Lebanon Rd. :rolleyes:

Even though I am a CPA fan, I think it will be a Boyd, DCA final. This time DCA will be on top.

Boyd will come out on top no matter who they play. I think that CPA will be runner up, but maybe DCA will pull an upset in the playoffs. Boyd will probably win state again.

Boyd will represent the east no question. They shouldn't have another close game until they see CPA or DCA in the state championship. How good is Mount Pleasant?? Im hearing alot of hype. Do they have the speed and defense to play with the big three, BBS, CPA, DCA???

I think the sub-title of this post is "what will happen?" or something like that. My comment is that if anyone KNOWS what will happen, I would really like to talk to you! There is still a LOT of football to be played and practiced. Remember that injuries often take a toll on teams, especially at the class A level where teams tend to be a little thinner. Also, the weather can be a HUGE factor at playoff time of the year. My hope is that the "top contenders" (whoever they are) will stay healthy and play solid football in decent weather.

There is no justification in saying that DCA couldn't beat Boyd this year b/c Boyd killed Goodpasture and Goodpasture would beat DCA. I am now dumber from having read that. If you think Boyd is better, that's fine, but don't base an argument on an opponent that doesn't even play DCA.
