Thomas Welch the former QB and current TE at Brentwood is being recruited as well. Recently took a visit to Vanderbilt at the Mississippi State game. Tall body at 6'7 and good build has caught the eye of many recruiters.

What's up with Brentwood QBs turning in TE's? Matt Henshaw, their QB from 1998-2000, was at one point the starting TE for Florida State......he may be there still, but I don't follow FSU enough to know.

Has Tennessee even considered him, I hear he is a big kid about 6'7"? You would think if his dad and uncle both were big time stars at Tennessee that Fulmer would be all over him!

I don't know of any official offers yet, but Jamarcus has been contacted by Marshall and Michigan. I think he's awaiting his ACT score.

Maurice Whitten the Fullback at Tennessee High in Bristol is another D1 prospect being recruited by Virginia Tech

 

Virginia Tech has also be looking at Matt Dunn the placekicker at Sullivan South, I saw him play earlier this season and he has an incredible leg!

UT will offer Dustin Lindsey and Brandon Warren from Alcoa the day after Signing Day in February.

Dave Thomas from Riverdale hasnt officially committed anywhere yet, including MTSU. The sources that I know have said that these schools are looking at him and have either offered or will offer:

East Carolina, MTSU, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Memphis, Louisville, Miss. State and or Ole Miss, its one of the miss. schools, I dont think both as of yet.

Duran Ferguson has not been made an offer from Marshall. Marshall was interested but thev've made an offer to 2 other high school QB's, one has accepted.
