itzme
Really tough to say who the absolute best is, but I'll mention Josh Bone of Brentwood Academy. After missing virtually his entire sophomore season after an ACL tear, he is looking very good. Looked absolutely unbelieveable in BA's scrimmage against Brentwood High last week, where I believe he lit them up for 38, mostly from behind the line. Hope he has a great year after a really tough 2003/2004 season.

bobcatfan300
Pickett's Joseph Bailey had 6 or 7 in the first quarter against Unaka last year and 9 straight in the game. He helped blow the eventual state champs right out of the gym 80-57.

TheYJacket
Caleb Skogen of Tn Temple. I wouldn't say he is flat out the best in the state but he is very consistent.
aj1133
It is great to see Noel Smith's name atop the list because he is an outstanding three point shooter. Jimmy Young's name was mentioned earlier in this thread and even though that post was somewhat humorous, I can draw one obvious similarity between Noel and Coach Young. Neither of these guys need to look at the rim to shoot from downtown. I think both of them must have spent so many hours on the court that they can be looking at the floor and know where they are in relation to the rim and pull right in your face without hesitation. Those of you who say that Noel can't score with defense have apparently not seen the kid play or have a dog in the fight because very, very rarely is he Noel challenged by a defense, and if he is challenged he will rise. There are many names floating around on this sight, and several that I have not seen, but I can't imagine there being a better three point shooter, or a player in the state that gets more out of what God gave them. He can shoot and when this season is over he will have lead his team to the first state tournament appearance in years and individually he will be on top of several statistical catagories. KingCub00
I havent seen very many of the other shooters that have been mentioned in this thread, but out of every player ive ever played against, with, or watched in the stands, Noel is THE BEST ive ever seen. I would put everything i own on him if it were a competition.
bargo27
Ya'll are crazy. MBA senior Tee Patterson is lights out from behind the arc. He's been one of the premiere 3 point shooters in DII since his sophomore year and, with Brad French gone, should have a huge year along with Junior Deon Gaines. TnVols23
Daniel Stubblefield- Alcoa. Had 9 3's today in a scrimmage. Made 25 straight in a shooting drill the other day in practice. Range is unlimited.
