Didn't Mt. Juliet kick a late FG once to beat Gallatin?

A Riverdale loss is one of the most memorable to me. Overtime to Jefferson County. Both teams played their guts out. Jeff Co. had a little QB who just kept going, hit after hit. I remember the 180 change in emotion from the excitement of overtimes to the sudden loss.

And of course I remember the 1997 Clinic Bowl because my oldest played on that team... :P

1999 Goodpasture @ Tyner

Goodpasture won 21-18 in a game that should have been dominated by Tyner because they blocked 2 extra points and Tyner failed on a 2 point try on their last score. Tyner's line averaged nearly 300 lbs., whil Goodpasture's line featured 2 guards who were 5-7 & 5-8 respectively. It truly was a great high school football game.

November 12th 2004 in the JUNGLE, the MPHS Tigers put up 21 points in the 4th quarter and take a victory over the CPA Lions, 21-14.

I totally agree with that. Score 21 points in the 4th quarter, is amazing. CPA has a great team. RoRo was the man, linebacker steppin up to play RB was awesome. Best Class A player in my book. Plays well both sides of the ball.

2003- David Lipscomb vs Goodpasture

DL wins 38-35 on probably the craziest 4th quarter of football that I have ever witnessed. Cutler Robertson the Mustangs running back connected on a 35 yard field goal as time expired, and the Mustang students stormed the field as the Stangs capped off a 4th quarter comeback. The CSS telecast added to the environment of a classic night at the Reese Smith Athletic Complex. Austin Rogers established himself in the game as a big time player as he ran by Goodpasture defenders all night long. The crowd was probably the biggest in Lipscomb history as I would say there were well over 5,000 in the house.
