Further, GHS eliminated FHS last year, en route to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!  Because of this, the Red Devils probably BELIEVE that they can beat ANY TEAM in Tennessee.  More importantly, they likely BELIEVE that they will beat FHS again!  For this same reason, one has to wonder if there isn't that small seed of "DOUBT" in the back of the Rebels minds...

 

I don't know who will win the game Friday night between GHS &  FHS.  I do know that the mind is a very powerful, "magnetic" thing... Regardless, I expect another COMPETETIVE game between two excellent teams.  Good luck to both squads.

The Rebels weren’t supposed to get back here. After a 4-3 start, Germantown’s odds weren’t too good either. For Franklin the problem is scoring points, and the Red Devils’ strong suit is a defense that had two shutouts in three playoff games. Germantown 17-10.

I'm not tryin to start talkin mess about Franklin just cause we lost....that's a waste of time and effort on my part...what's done is done. It just makes me mad when this kid who never steps on the field runs his mouth and tarnishes a rivalry that's had so much tradition and class throughout the years.

 

Despite what's said...I'm still pulling for the Rebels to take it to the Boro.

 

Also wondering if there's any news on Dawson Bryant. Will he be able to go on Friday night?

 

Region4Fan...that was a definitely blow to my psyche, but in the spirit of Thanksgiving we'll just let it go.

BruinsT, no worries man. It bothers me that an apparent player is on here running his mouth. Really, it bothers me that simply a Franklin person is running his mouth. We normally have some class on here... guess sometimes we get carried away. Region thought you were talkin to me and so was stickin up for me... I wouldn't worry about it dude.

Hey now everyone is still fighting. Listen there is some class there but there is some dirty play from both sides and from what I hear about Hiemerdinger's dad didnt make me very happy.(he told Coach J that franklin was dirty). Anywho im lookin forward to making the trek down to Germantown tommorow and am hoping to see some more passing then last week. Happy thanksgiving everyone.
