I second VG's sentiments.

 

The Private Message function is great. I found a fellow fan through PM and was given a game tape I was wanting when we met up at a game - that effectively paid back the $12 right then and there. The PM function has also been great for off-line conversations, whether sharing "inside" information about a team that one may not necessarily want posted on a board, or for settling differences or petty spats that originated on the message boards. I can honestly say that I have had my opinions changed favorbaly about some posters on here after learning a little about them off-line through PM.

 

The Open Discussion board is great, too, particularly for some of you older posters. There's actually a lot of good stuff on the Open D. board for all ages - maybe no pictures of Lindsay Lohan swimming parties, but good stuff nevertheless.

 

Benefits aside, becoming a plus member is just a great way to show appreciation to coacht and iamoz for their hard work. Look at all the great things that have been added in the past 6 months - the Friday night internet broadcast and real-time scoreboards during football season are fantastic features.

 

Current plus members - the easiest way to donate membership(s) to others probably is to send coacht a check and the screen name(s) of those you want to receive the membership(s).

You can use PayPal to send cash and then email me with the info as to who it is for. Or, payment can be mailed with check or money order but be sure to provide the user name on either the check or an enclosed note so I know who the membership is for. Mailing address and other info is at CoachT Plus

 

I really think each new member will be very pleased with what this membership provides. You have to experience it, though, to understand what we mean.

You can go to your My Controls at the top of the boards, look on the left side for Options, Purchase Subscriptions, and use PayPal. You don't even have to have an account with PayPal. Be sure to enter the same email address with them that you used to register on here and it will automatically sign you up immediately.

 

If you mail it I need your user name.

 

Several members have purchased Christmas gift memberships for family members tonight. I think they will enjoy it.

Plus Membership is the only way to go. The benefit of communicating directly with other posters is easily worth the $12. Being able to access all the boards in another plus.
