Eveytime you play in Cattanooga you have to beat the Cattanooga team and the umpires. You think that the umps could have had anything to do with Chattanooga losing the State tournament.

Baylor is in Chattanooga. The Beech playday wasn't in Chattanooga and Soddy won it.

Powell is going to be tough to beat this year. With two dominating pitchers, Heather Broyles and Sarah Sutphin the ladies will go far. The whole squad can knock the cover off the ball, with leaders Sutphin, Sam Kooch, and Brittany Gloyd. Not to mention the tenacious D with Josie Morris at second and Freshman stand out Sarah Meyers at short. Be afraid, very afraid because the Panthers are on the prowl.

Soddy Daisy looked really good this past weekend. They put a "good whipping" on Goodpasture. I think they are a total team and they have it all. They are definitely the best team in the state!

Goodpastures goal in 2005 is to be the BEST in May in Memphis in Class A not to beat Soddy in a Play Day. Soddys time will come!!!!!!!!!!!

Soddy is the best I have seen, Lot's of speed, great pitching, and good bats.

Their pitcher had a "real rise", most everyone else throws high-heat and calls it a rise. High heat works too. Very few HS girls have actual upward movement.

We are going to need alot of work to beat them.

I've put alot of teams together and I have never predicted anything right. That's what makes it fun. Looking forward to playing all these great teams.

See you at the park!

    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
    • I heard Alabama was at Antioch practice and Colorado has offered QB. Hoping the Bears have a great year.
