Walker Valley is the front runner... Only 1 of 2 teams to give Mt. Juliet a run for thier money! Westview is a contender, but shooting % has to be great from the arch! Harpeth and one of the 7AA teams are the sleepers of the tourny! AE, Loretto, & OS have lots to prove!

We shouldn't even be discussing Walker Valley in AA as they are a AAA team. Not sure how much political pull they have with T$$AA but it must be alot. They've been AAA now for the past 3 years. The powers that be made Ridgeway move up 2 years ago to AAA and WV should have been done the same way but they weren't so they are definately a favorite to go to the buro'. Heck if we had 1400 students instead of 400 in our school i am sure we would be a favorite too! thumb

You just gotta know how to beat them, you can't let Suzanne Morris get easy baskets. Or you can let Suzanne have hers and shut down Mindy Cox or Alyson Butler, which isn't hard to do if you have good defensive players. Have different people guard Alyson, and don't leave them open for 3's, because they will knock em down. Good Luck to all AA teams, take notes.

Are those raindrops? Nope, just another shower of tears from another none WV crying fan. This AA / AAA sad song is so old and so repetitive, its beginning to get down right pitiful. Find another excuse. I got it.....WV got a better team..... thumb

I think Devil is a Jackson County fan.....one who's eagerly awaiting JC'c move to 1A so they have another chance to win the state tourney. He's said that several times before. ;)

Don't be shocked if Pigeon Forge is in the title game...only 2 losses to teams in the state...#1 in Class A DCA by 2 and at Livingston (which is a tough place to play) by 9. The other loss is to the #4 team (Hazel Green) in Alabama's largest classification (6A) by 14. Ought to be on a 15-game win streak when they start play in the district tournament next week.

And how much does those games matter now?? You all are good at winning those regular season, it doesn't really matter that much games. That was over a month and a half ago......by the time you get to state it will have been three months ago. Those were some nice wins for you guys, but when everyone gets in the boro, it will be business as usual. You guys go out quietly, some team from 7AA leaves with the gold.

My vote goes to Walker Valley. They lost in the last few seconds by 2 last year to the number 1 team in the state. The #2 team in the state was from their own district, McMinn Central. They returned the entire team with the exception of one. A. Butler is tremendous inside drives and outside 3's. Mindy Cox plays way above her size and Morris and Parks make a very strong four!

Yes, they have 1300 students, but TSSAA allowed this until the upcoming year. Tucker will get them there.

Oliver Springs and Pigeon Forge should not be counted out yet either.
