if waverly can stop making mental errors on both the offensive side and defensive side i think people would be suprised at how well they can actually play.

Looks as if Sycamore has the inside track to the number 1 seed. Don't count Harpeth out if they can get some help. Could be a good tournament as some of the bottom teams are very capable of pulling an upset.

Sycamore played Rossview today and won by a final score of 6-5. It was an all around good game. There was good defense, there was some small ball, and there was some timely hits. Justin McCain got the win, with Brian Hawkins doing some relief, and John Clanton comin in and gettin a tough save. Clanton came in the game with 1 out man on third and the game was tied. He struck out the first batter to get the second out and the next batter came up and he got two quick strikes then he hit a small roller to third and the third baseman got it and barely threw the runner out at first to end the game, with that out the tying run didnt score and the game was over. It was good win over a quality opponent.

CW @ Harpeth tonight and Harpeth @ The Wood tomorrow night. These should be very good games as the two teams will fight for number two in the district. Good Luck Wood

Sycamore beat Waverly by a score of 7-2. Sycamore started off well scoring 4 in the first, but after that seemed like they were just goin through the motions, they could have done a lot better. Josh Knight went the distance striking out 13 batters, and the thing that scares me is that he could have pitched better. These two teams play again tom. but if rained out they will play thursday.

 

Does anybody know the score of the Harpeth/Creekwood game?

Harpeth hangs on 11-7 after leading 10-0 after 4.

CW played terrible the first 2 innings. They gave up 3 in the first and 7 in the second, and 1 was earned. After them 2 innings Harpeth only scored 1 run. After them 2 innings CW started playin better and made the game that was 10-0 at one point a good game. Hopefully the rain will stay away and these two teams can play tomorrow and I cant wait to see it.

can someone do me a favor and list all the tiebreakers for district seeds. i guess #1 is head-to-head, but what if the teams have split? what r the next 2 or 3 tiebreakers?

If they split after that Im pretty sure they go to how the 2 teams did against the #1 team, but not sure what they do after that if both the teams do the same thing against the #1 team
