48 is pretty good, but a 47 is sometimes required to win the state, at least on the AAA level. In fact, 10 out of the last 25 years had a 47 or better in the AAA level.

As far as the 110m hurdles go, there should be another good matchup this year. The AAA level has been pretty quick the past few years, running in the low 14's.

The A-AA level has been quicker too, running in the mid 14's. Every now and again, the A-AA level will flop, and the winner will run in the 15's.

Yea the 400 race at State is gonna be quite a battle. B. Webb (i think) has the fastest time goining into the finals, along with the kid from Franklin, and Brandon of Cordova. In fact there was another Kid, Colin who ran a low 48 for prelims, but effed up his leg in the 200 prelims. Also this kid beat Simion H. at knoxville invitational (1. B WEBB 47:97 2. COLIN 48:10 3. S. HARRIS 48:22). Dont believe me? go to dystat or somethin and look up knoxville invitational.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
