I am not sure that any high school stadium is a tough environment to play football.  The most difficult thing about playing on the road for college & NFL teams is the noise level and being able to communicate.  I have never been to a high school game where the noise level was loud enough that the players could not communicate.  IMO, the most difficult thing about playing on the road in high school is that most of the "football only" players do not travel enough to know how to travel, sleep in a hotel, eat on the road, etc...and then play their best game.  Kids that play for the elite basketball & baseball summer league teams do this every weekend so they are professionals at traveling and playing a game.

I'll chime in with a W.TN nominee.. our "hogpen" at Dresden is a renowned place to play.. when the wind is right, mmmm what a smell, that hog farm nextdoor is a real memory maker for sure! Gets in your nose & clothes to stay with you all way home! Ha! The school has that farm program, uses animals it raises to feed our Lions! :) plus.. our fans are some of loudest, noisiest, most rukus you'll ever hear out of a 1A school. Horns, cowbells, noisemakers, stomping, chanting.. oh yeah! LUV our 12th man!

Wayne county. Black uni's, half the lights work, they run the veer and the ball is wet. With all that going on its a crap shoot as to who is carrying the football. Just tackle everybody so you make sure you have the right one. I remember my fresman year they had 38 seniors on the team
