Know you, I would love to see this, but the Oakdale streak is over and too sadly, over bad. Rockwood is going to be mad, upset, and have something to prove to its fans after last night. Look for a big Rockwood win.

BUT, Good luck Eagles.

That's what's most thought would happen last night against Meigs. Rockwood was supposed to bounce back but seems as if they laid down. Oakdale will be more than ready for Rockwood and I think Oakdale has an excellent chance to get the win! Rockwood is capable of winning obviously, but they will get all they want this week when they head into Oakdale!

I think Rockwood wins this one by 2 touchdowns. I don't see what happened against Meigs County happening again. Meigs forced a lot of turnovers and was able to capitalize on them. Rockwood couldn't get any traction at all.

One other thing.....IF Oakdale beats Rockwood, I don't think your going to find an empty seat up on the Reservation in two weeks.  You have Oneida fresh off a huge win (and rested) going against an undefeated Oakdale.  The Indians have found their stride and Oakdale will be well respected with a Tiger Tail.  I think Oakdale has done a fine job and deserve the recognition for winning all their games.  Rockwood should really test them.  Without lessening their accomplishments so far, I think they have played 5 teams that they were capable of beating. (AND DID)  Rockwood will certainly offer a fight and until proven otherwise, I'm leaning towards them in this match-up.  My thoughts on their game against Meigs is that they probably never showed up to play and that is what happens if you don't.

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
