East's starting lineup is G, Alex Lomax (Mr. Basketball) 5'-11"; G, Jaylen Hardaway, 6'-3"; G, T.J. Moss, 6'-4"; F, Malcom Dandridge, 6'-8"; F, Chandler Lawson, 6'-9". Not a stiff among them. They come off of the bench with G, Nick Merriweather, 5'-10"; F, Antavion 'Dude' Collumn, 6'-8", and F/G, R. Washington , 6'-5".

They are extremely LONG.

What does OR lineup look like?

What do you mean? This is as real as it gets! I don't care who won Mr Basketball...Tee will be the best player on the floor. They will play a fast paced game which will play to our strength. Our other four guys will play and shoot better than they did today. EVERYONE says East will win. All that adds up to this...EAST IS IN TROUBLE! We win by 12

Lomax isn't even east's best player. Higgins is an athlete but he won't be the best "basketball" player on the floor. Lawson and Moss will be. There is a reason East has multiple 4 star recruits and Lawson being a 5 star in basketball.

Lomax wins Mr. Basketball because he is the engine that makes East run but doesn't have the size and athletic ability of Lawson and Moss. Higgins won't have the ability to dunk in traffic so easy because East at any time will have 3 6'7 trees clogging the lane.

Do you think East will slow it down? Do you think East will play a half court game? If Brentwood had run with us, we would've won by 25 or more. Both teams Friday will score over 70...one will in the 80s.

If you knew ANYTHING about basketball in this state you would've known Brentwood would slow the pace down, because that is their style and has been for years, and you wouldn't have made such a dumb prediction. But, obviously you don't know anything about basketball, and obviously are just trying to get a rise out of opposing teams' fanbases. Again, you sound dumb.

I agree with sweetscience, you sound like hyperquick dumb at this point.

Ok why is everybody saying Jones had a bad game didn't show up . Kid didn't force anything he set people up . They didn't play man to shut the lanes down . I thought he played like he had to did the little things ., He will most likely now see man and look better and more like himself . Higgins will not even be in the top 5 players on the floor . He is good but come on people on east bench is better than him . That was a very nice dunk he had when they were stalling .,a freakish athlete probably still learning the game .

    • “facts” or better yet ‘opinions’ had been up for weeks/months. that’s not why the thread was deleted. get over yourself.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say the have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
    • Crazy how the thread just gets deleted when facts come out.
    • I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
