Maybe not towns but I know one trophy case that's much larger and isn't full of just round balls. Lake County also has its share of NFL guys so don't argue that.

I'm sure you guys would take him at Camden. Aren't Milan and Peabody really close to Westview? He'd really excel at those two places I know. It is apparent that with Westview being a worse job than Camden, Milan, Lake County, etc. that it may just be one of those places where making the state playoffs is a tremendous victory. It doesn't seem like it's as attractive of a job as many would believe at first glance.

Chloe Moore and Greenfield made the Jonesboro team look like chopped liver today. TN’s Kelly Harper ought to be crawling on her hands and knees to get Chloe Moore. Karly is a great player I agree but Chloe is the girl I would want to have the ball in a last possession last second situation in a heart beat.

You give them too much credit. They have only won 12 games in the last 4 years....

3 weeks, lol. Football wise its been better for years, Westview might have won 16 games in 4 years, LC won 15 just this year alone.

McConnell left to be with family, go back home, and got a bump in pay in doing so.......that’s it, nothing more to that story. Puckett seems like a smart guy, I’d doubt he’d even consider replacing his son with Ty. I’m sure he’d put his kid in a position to get the ball in his hands as often as possible, why wouldn’t he, the kids a playmaker himself. I’d personally like to see them both in the backfield together, they could be dangerous. UTM Simpson doesn’t interfere like people often suggest he does. I agree with everything else.

Personally I'd have it, 1. Hunter Borders (Wilson Central) 2. Chris Calvin (McGavock) 3. Justin Bradford (Blackman) 4. Glenn O’Daniel (Bradley) 5. Kolin Koss (Bartlett) 6. Tenario Thomas (East Hamilton) The two ahead of him are state finalists one being a champ and if he hasnt wrestled them I think its hard to put him ahead of them based off results so far. But that's just me

Another thing to consider about Coach Puckett is at Lake County he has the final say so on football and baseball related matters. At Westview I don't think he would have that control. Coach Puckett may very well end up at Westview but I highly doubt it. At LC he can win just about every year at Westview not so much. Just look at the region they play in. Lake County will pretty always be in the mix in 1A. Westview can't say that in 3A. Look at Westview since Cody left. It's been mediocre at best. LC fielded very good to decent teams during that same stretch. I also believe it is Caydens time to be the man at qb.UTM Simpson will never let that happen. There is more to the story on McConnell leaving after 1 year.

Coach Simpson at UTM may want to think about getting his son out of Martin and into another school a.s.a.p.

IF they haven't practiced or played with another school, they could enter the city school at the beginning of the 9th grade. IF they participate in athletics and go to county school in the 10th grade, they would have to sit out. This is currently in the TSSAA rules.

The game to watch will be today. Mountain brook(#1 Player in the state and a Top 10 Team Nationally and only team to beat IMG last year ) vs TN High. North Meck wasn't as impressive as previous years...but there is still plenty of games to play. Would have loved to see Webb with Keon even if it was against my team.

So SP has a need on O line and you guys have got a transfer coming in that will fill that need and 2019 ain’t even over with yet. Interesting.....

Lake County is a better football job than Westview. Any shape or form you want to look at. Lake County is just the better football job. Plus Coach Puckett is also the head baseball coach. Westview looking for one of those to?

Sorry bud. Lake County has so much more tradition than Westview. Westview is not winning any titles. Lake County is in the playoffs every year and a person can built a powerhouse at LC. Not a Westview. Westview has so much more politics to deal with than Westview. Puckett has built a great program at LC and at Westview a 6 and 4 season is good season. At Lake County you can go deep in the playoffs just about every year not so much at Westview. Little Puckett is a quarterback and a very good one. Westview has Simpson at qb and it would never work. Just my 2 cents on the subject. Plus Coach Puckett loves Lake County and Lake County feels the same about him. Check Lake County's history then check Westview and get back to me. Plus I would take Cayden Puckett over Simpson at qb anyday for high school football and I don't care how many stars Simpson has by his name.

Cayden Puckett is also a pretty good QB in his own right. The one time that he and Simpson faced off was their 8th grade year during the middle school playoffs for the TMSAA west sectionals and Puckett had a vastly better game between the two, along with a convincing win.

Oh ok I know that smh. Deflate? These young kids is humble as they come. Bolivar plays better when Jeff is playing team ball. You seen the difference between the 1st game(Jeff had about 35-40) to only lose by 30. 2nd game he passed the ball, only had about 6-8 points and only lost by 5 points. He played team ball. I look forward to seeing y’all again after y’all battle y’all LS tough district & region!

After reading some of these comments, I would say most of you guys replying to this topic have no clue about Westview football. Lake Co has never & will never be a better place than Martin, lol, there’s no comparison.
