Now I never insinuated that Gaddis was cheating by any means. I was simply referring to both schools benefiting from transfers. We have benefited from them too in the past, and will this year also it looks like. A lot of speculation has been occurring the past few years in regards to Lowe and Powell, and to be frank, a lot of it is probably warranted (he did get caught a few years ago as we all know), but all I’m saying is that the present kid (5 star) who is said to be going there that we shouldn’t speculate or make any accusations about him being “recruited”, that’s all. He may not even be there for all we know. All we’re going by is a post some guy made about it on here a few days or weeks ago. Maybe a Powell fan can jump on and clarify.

It has been news on here for a good 2-3 months or so. About 1 of them, at least. His dad is on the OR staff, so it isn’t surprising that he came with him. Now, the other one - I have zero idea why he came, but hey, I ain’t complaining. I would venture to say that they’re more than likely connected, obviously.

It was in the papers, online and all 3 TV stations. Oak Ridge Sports Hall of Fame and Clemson's IPTAY ( Fund Raising Club ) finally dedicated the 6' 5" Statue of Tee Higgins to ORHS. I think this should have been done years ago when Tee was playing QB for the Robertsville Middle School Rams. We all knew he was going far in sports. Dabo brought the whole team to help salute Tee. A statue for Coach Gaddis will go up after he wins State this December. The statute will show a pack of Bulldogs ripping into OpieSnagnasty doughy body.

Don’t say no love at all. I’ve been singing their song since they got put in region 2 2A. Maybe none from the pollsters but I’m betting the guy that put this top 15 out doesn’t even know where region 2 is lol.

My thing is if you are going to have a website about high school football and you want to be credible you have to do a better job. Pre season polls don’t mean anything but you got to do better. It’s like having Unaka in your poll. They did nothing last year to prove they should be ranked in a pre season poll. Hampton they proved last year they were a tough team. Should be a really solid team this year. It makes you look like you don’t really know a lot about teams.

Under pressure he threw either 2-3 interceptions in our game. Not sure what else you would consider calling that. Meigs and South Greene offensively have much different play styles. The difference between our qbs is ours performs much better under pressure. There are options as a qb besides throwing it up and hoping for the best under duress. Your qb would probably have faired well with our team as well as you say, but our qb and his strengths would have done extremely well with yours as well I believe. Im.always glad to see your posts friend. I have alot of respect for you and the way you present yourself on these boards. Just know that I'm not attacking your team. Your 2020 South Greene team to me was about the same as our 2016 team. Pretty good but just not there yet. We found out when we played Marion County that year what a state championship caliber team looks like. We chased it and are now much closer than we were back then and hope to just keep improving. We knew our current qb would replace Swafford when he was just a freshman. Logan Carroll our current qb has been a starter for Meigs since his freshman year. Played reciever and was one of the best we had when he played that position. Also played DB extremely well. He's a tremendous athlete. One of the thing about Meigs is normally on skill positions you already know who is gonna take who's place when graduation opens up a slot. Our coaches put in alot of work with the young guys so we rarely get the feeling of having to start over at positions every year. I'm sure most teams do that, but we do it really well. Every year for Meigs we just seem to have the question mark at line play. Every year though for the last 4-5 year we've made it work and work pretty well really. Daniel Boone is ranked about where Meigs finished last year as far as rankings go. If you can play with them and their ranking is close you should be a contender. Peabody was ranked around 2000 on the same pole seasons end. A hard feat to reach. Meigs on the same pole is just above 6000 for the 2021 season. It seems we aren't expected to be as good as last year. Polls mean nothing as do rankings. But knowing this may give you some insight to what it may take. They very well may be top 10 friend. But depending on one player to carry you deep in the playoffs is a very hard thing to ask of one kid. If the team steps it up and gives him some help they very well may be top 10 this year. I've looked at your schedule and if you can keep your first or second game close you will do really well this coming season. Gotta play with the big boys to be considered one.

Yeah, Region 2 absolutely no love except for Monterey and they are coming up from 1A. No Red Boiling Springs or Pickett County anymore.

If York has a “good York team” it would not surprise me at all to see them in the semifinals. It was a good break for them to go to the north east.

Definitely top 10 or even top 5. If they are gonna be better than last year like they think they will be. They will be a hard team to beat.

Hampton gave us a much better game than I figured they would. I felt like we didn't have a good defense prepared for them or we may have faired some better. Both teams gave up alot of points that game lol. Not one we were proud of looking back but a win is a win. Gotta give credit where it's due though, they played us for all they were worth. They also prepared really well. The biggest reason we had success offensively is we had an outstanding qb and rb last year. It was hard to stop both consistently. And if you focused on just one the other would make you pay for it.

I’m glad he is doing the print copy. It’s the most comprehensive Tennessee high school football publication of any type by far. I still like actual books.

the article says CLASS OF 2022. Can you not read?

Last year's HVA team may have been their worst, aside from the inaugural 2009 team, although they played a very challenging schedule and were pretty young on both sides of the ball. The roster almost seemed devoid of playmakers too. I'm not expecting a ton of improvement out of them in 2021, given how much they struggled both offensively and defensively last season, but you never know. 4 wins is probably their ceiling.
