The clear cut winner for this dumpster fire is in no doubt Sweetwater, followed by Scott County and as always giving their part is Union County for third place.

BGA seemingly has the longest road of D2 schools to travel to return to success. The Franklin area obviously is not full of football players see (Franklin high lack of success). Also you have Page (winning) Independence, and Centennial (improving). Those schools are options for athletes. When your record is that bad a big part of the issue is talent. Let’s face it are athletes going to leave the metro area and drive to BGA ? All of the D2 private schools in Nashville are after the same pool of players which will get divided out amongst the schools and probably not reach Franklin. Im not saying it can’t be done but location has a lot to do with success athletically.

Gonna be som good girls games! I hope white co gets a chance to play york. They need to play a really good team to see were they are.

Wade is there to win now. He is a good man and excellent teacher of fundamentals. His staff will be excellent and he’s a good strategist to IMO. He also won’t coddle any of those players or their parents whatsoever. No parent is going to cozy up to him and gain favor so buckle up BA because some of you will get butthurt quick. I would not be surprised if he wins it all next year. He took a QB that had more Ints that TDs his sophomore year and made him into a 3,000 yard 30 td qb last season.

I don't think it's the Mr Rosser but the Mrs Rosser that has the job that's keeping him where he is! That's why he left anyway. Because his wife got the "Job" of her life.

There are a few pretty dang good wrestlers that have came through Soddy middle and make up a pretty good Soddy team right now as well as some Loftis kids. Although I hate that some of those very guys I graduated or went to school with sent their kids to McCallie after spending years in kids club at Soddy, but they do what’s best for them, so good luck to them. But I will cheer my Soddy kids on where my own son goes to school and go to their matches. The team would be really tough if they had those guys, would have been nice for them to stick it out like the Uhorchuks have with Signal and proven you don’t need to go private to be a top notch wrestler AND go to a good college program. Oh well, still a tough Soddy team and plenty coming up and a strong kids club led by some really good coaches to build with!

Central need to buy Rosser a house and open the bank for Rosser to come back home if he wants a million give him a million to bring him home

I'm not crazy about it either, but the ones that don't adapt will be the ones sitting at home every november

Even Saban decided to get in the game by bidding on players in the portal. Us old guys may not like it, but the earth ain’t flat. Gotta figure out the best way to roll with the changes. Startup costs ain’t going down.

I didn’t realize that Baylor still had a middle school team. For the past several years the middle school team was atrocious and that is being kind. They merely go out and recruit kids of need to fill the various weight classifications.

Based on a few BGA paths that I cross; this seems to be the case. It's unfortunate too, because BGA has been a traditionally strong program and been middle of the road as of late, which shows in the stands as well on any given Friday night. You hate it for the players, as it used to mean something to be a BGA Wildcat, and now... it's just another place to go to school and play sports. Would love to see a legacy type of Coach come to the helm and make BGA great again. Or hire a Coach that knows and respects that tradition as a former opponent. BGA Board, Admin, search committee needs to show a little more sense of urgency, if they want to right the ship and not lose players with the current coaching carousel going on in D2 right now.
