This should be an interesting game. Hearing ole Beaker has cleaned out CAK and is building CAK Redux 2.0. The key to beating a Beaker team is extreme pressure on the QB but maintaining control of the line of scrimmage. He will kill you inside if you sell out. The pressure is especially key to destroy the timing on crossing patterns. Those are often short yardage; but 4+4+4=12 and he can keep your D on the field for extended periods of time. Frankly, I am glad he is back. He puts a solid team on the field that you will need to work to beat. We should get better after playing this one.

The beautiful thing is Alcoa is building a brand new development with over 110 new homesites. Can you say 110 new recruits minimum? We might need to head down to MLK and share our new affordable housing options and see just how well Pearl stands up in the recruiting competition.

There is no doubt #77 belongs on this team. He was preseason All-State and had a great season with numerous dominating performances. One has to wonder just what the selection committee is looking at.

GQ is one of the finest men I have ever known. I am very thankful for his influence in my family. He is one of the few high school coaches ready and capable of immediate success on the college level. I am excited to see what he does. That said, Derek Hunt is the right pick to replace him. Yes he is young, but there are few that know GQs offense better than him. Most importantly, Coach Hunt embodies the very same characteristics that Rebel fans have come to expect - character, honor and integrity. Blue Skies George!

I am probably the only guy on here that has had sons to play for both of these coaches. I love and respect both. Each is the perfect fit for their respective programs. Both have outstanding staffs. For us, it game down to the size of the school as the deciding factor. I am very thankful for both and their influence and leadership in the lives of my sons.

SC has our boys full respect and attention. No doubt SC is an excellent team very worthy of the praise received thus far. Review of your film shows a hard hitting team that does not give up and employs multiple weapons. We will need to start fast and finish faster to compete in this game in the W column. Now to more important stuff: Where is the best place to grab some vittles when we get into town Friday? I will be riding down beautiful Hwy 27. Ron, ETown has very impressive DL. Key point is the DL have quality size and speed and do not play both ways. Combine that with quality coaching and they are a tough bunch.

I am partial, but that middle school coach knows how to organize and raise expectations of those around him. You should be optimistic, but mlreb is right. Gonna run out of excuses..... The middle school coach will be the high school coach in the future (should have been so the first time). The man knows this game and knows how to use the talent he has to win. Yes, I am biased as well, but I believe in his ability raise expectations and establish accountability.

I do not recall that happening. We have never saw us stop anyone. All gates are opened and people pour onto the field. It would be quite the task to sort out specific groups of people from a crowd like that.
