When I went to state a couple of years ago, Clarksville High School had one of the best crowds

A- Humboldt......They are the best team in the state....There is no reason why the Vikings shouldn't take home gold this year.... AA- Liberty.....Would love to see a Bolivar vs Liberty Championship.....But wouldn't mind seeing Fulton in there too.. AAA- Melrose....Should be an all Memphis final.......But watch out for White Station....With Joe Jackson, anything is possibly... GO WEST TN.....

I'll go with a Union City vs Humboldt Championship.....I guess I'll be making my way from Martin over to Trenton tomorrow night.....Ready to see some great games

Correct you are.... Two of Union City's state championship teams had 9 losses....The AA 1990 team was 11-9 at one point before they won 15 in a row to finish 26-9 and the 2006 team ended up 30-9....UC has used the same model since Marty took over from Harry Ferguson back in the late 80's and Shane has used it since he became the head coach...Schedule tough games out of the district, possibly take some lumps, learn from them and be prepared for the postseason...Do you realize that since UC dropped to 1A they haven't scheduled a 1A school outside the district??...The only 1A teams out of district they have played are teams in the regional, sub-state and state tournament...All the scheduled games in the regular season have been AA or AAA teams...Wonder how many other 1A teams across the state can say that ??.... ok P&G ..... keep beating your chest . and i wonder how many 1A teams across the state can say they have over 12,000 population I knew someone would bring this up.....never gets old

If humboldt had a better coach, they would win A... But they don't. I think people are sleeping on Union City. Humboldt should have won last year and 2007. I have not seen city university play, but I hear they have a good team... Middleton is always competitive. Union City will be your A state champion. AA Liberty Tech will win AA no one plays as hard and they play very smart. Their toughest competition will be Fulton if they meet. AAA based on talent crown Melrose, but you have to play the game... Smart money says Melrose, but White Station seems to win the big games. I think white station will win the district. I believe Southwind will beat Ridgeway next week.. If Germantown plays well they can be dangerous AAA is wide open in Memphis and it's the toughest region by far... Having said all that I believe White Station will be crowned AAA state champions. Union City and humboldt will represent A in the boro. Liberty and I don't know who will represent AA and white station and Ridgeway will represent AAA. I do agree with you on some points. You are right Humboldt should have a couple of Gold Balls in the case. Their coaching as hurt them for a long time they have as much talent as anyone in rural west tn. City University will be tough because of the compitition the play! Union City has a good team and the best coach in the district. UC has no size and that will hurt them sooner or later. Those 3 balls will not kept falling! I really think Lake County will be ready to play when it counts! Humboldt's talent will carry them a long way! Middleton always has a pretty good team and will be hard to handle! They are so many good 3A schools in Memphis to me it is hard to pick! I hope everwho repersents West Tn they bring back 3 Gold Balls! Go Luck to all! Why would the threes stop falling for Union City.....They've been shooting threes for years now....IF Union City doesn't make it to state or atleast Substate, its because they simply go outplayed....The threes simply won't stop falling....

You don't have a clue what you're talking about. Why would OC be up for Covington more than anyone else? Covington is nobody special. If you think Dyersburg puts up 35 on Obion you are smoking crack! I know you are an expert and all though since your boy plays......basketball. You're a clown. Have you watched Obion Co football in the past 6 years?....OC always comes to play Covington......Since 2004, Covington came into Troy with a #1 ranking twice and walked away with a loss....in 05 and 07 we went down to Covington and played them harder than we played anybody else and lost....The past two years just doesn't really matter because we were flat out terrible.....And this year, the only two wins OC have are against Fulton Co, KY and Cape Central MO(two terrible teams) and Covington comes into Troy a favorite but walks away with a beat down....Don't tell me they don't show up to play Covington....... I guess this proves how much you really actually know.....I know because I played

I can't see Union City's corners being able to defend the pass....I just don't see it.....If Pat has time in the pocket they will make the Freshmen look silly.....OC is going to come out fired up....don't think anything different.....I'm going with the Rebels on this one.....(The only time I will pick against UC all year)...... Was going to make a topic about our trip, but decided to just do it here...... This was everything I was expecting.....The atmosphere, the fans, and the game were just amazing....15 & 1 were awesome.....I don't know about anybody's college situation, but is Warren getting any looks from anybody...He is one heck of an athlete....It was nice to meet everyone and definitely thanks for the free stuff....I'm glad I was there to see Maryville's streak end....Congrats to Alcoa...I had a blast....Good luck the rest of the season. I don't think Alcoa can be stopped this year!

Congrats to the Rebels for getting that win..... .....I knew it was bad for Fulton Co. when on the very first play they throw an interception and OC's first play a touchdown pass to Mason McGrew......(Saw him with ice on his shoulder after halftime and info on him).......OC is gonna have to learn to hit someone on a kickoff or they will have problems with that all season.....It was good to see OC have fight in them...It's something we haven't seen in a couple years.....Next week they will be without Ethan Davis, but I think they will be okay for this game......Patrick Haskins is just fast.....He just straight up left the FC defenders on the 2nd td......He'll be fun to watch this year.....It was good to see the young receivers go out and make some plays (Patton, McGrew, Cary, and Ward)....Brandon Armour and Lucas Fulbright ran the ball well tonight....Did both go over 100 yds?.....Good luck to the Rebels next week as they travel down to Byhalia....I wish I could go, but I'll be making my way over to Blount Co. to watch Alcoa/Maryville ........Now, lets go for 2....
