That being the case they definitely don't want him at Blackman. They've been down that road before. I think there is a real opportunity to bring this rivalry to an intense but healthy level. Let's hope that is where we go from here...

I thought this was the man that supposedly doesnt take pot shots at Oakland? Last i checked, Moose is just a tech specialist, he has no photography interests at all. I almost consider Moose like a 2nd Head Coach for Oakland with all the experience and intangibles he brings to the table. There is much love for Moose at Oakland and his efforts are much appreciated from this alum, and I wouldnt plan on him leaving Oakland anytime soon

I haven't been able to make it to a Riverdale practice yet. I'm off work Thursday and Friday...I wonder if they are practicing on Friday?

Cmon TDCman you are definitely slacking on us. We are needing your astute insight on how practices are going and who looks like they are stepping up. With Siegel, Blackman, and Riverdale all having spring right now......you should be one busy guy and making the rounds! Then you could give us your famous spring predictions! I hope you can make it by to a couple of them for us. thumb I would love to hear who is running the show at BHS.

Capmbell and Shockley are running the show at Blackman for now.

Coach Campbell used to be the HC for Warren County.  I don't know for sure, but I am guessing that Coach Wells came to Blackman because he was expecting to be the HC soon.  Whoever gets the job, I just hope they can get Blackman back to the playoffs and beyond.

Coach Capbell was also head coach at Martin Westview High School in Martin, Tn.He had a winning streak of I think 46 regular season games back in the 80's. A really good coach.You can't go wrong with him.Bobby Wells has paid his dues.Bobby and I played ball together at Austin Peay and he was a really good player. I know that he did a great job at Smyrna so it might be his time.I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Coach Campbell had some great seasons at Martin Westview going to the semi-finals one year, only to get beat by Brentwood Academy I believe. Took Chester County to the playoffs for the first time in the history of the school in 92 and 93. Ran into some ruff times at Warren County (who wouldn't). Warren county probably has not won as many games as they did when he was there since he left. He would do a great job as he is a great PR person within the community. Hope people seriously consider him.

I don't know if it's true or not, one of my sources told me today that a coached is going to be announced in about 10 days. But like I said, I don't know if that's true or not.

If Blackman wants to look elsewhere instead of within, they really need to look at Ron Gray from Oak Ridge. Great offensive minded coach who deserves to be a head coach. Should have gotten a more serious look at Oak Ridge, but they obviously wanted to go another route and bring in fresh blood. He was the reason they went on to meet Riverdale in the semi-finals. Oak Ridge put more points on Riverdale then anyone else last season. He averaged over 40 points per game in the toughest 5A region in the state last year, as well as playing D-B twice. He deserves a shot if they do not want to look at their own two coordinators. Good luck in the search. Campbell or Gray, you won't go wrong with either one.
