I know this topic is for Tennessee schools, but I was in Birmingham and saw the facilities of Hoover High School. Some colleges would be jealous of their weight room and athletic facilities. It was a humbling experience.

For anyone who knows, what will Oak Ridge sports (football) be getting in the 50+ million dollar school renovations? I know the new gym will be sweet.

The three high schools in Obion County are blessed with great facilities....Union City has the best Single A facility in the state hands down...UTM wishes they had facilities that could rival UC's...They have a large stadium with a track,a huge indoor artificial turf practice facility and good size weight room...Plenty of parking,a very good concession area and two very large outside practice fields...Obion Central has a large stadium and a large artificial turf indoor practice facility..They have a nice outdoor practice field and two concession areas..Work could be done on their weight room...The visitor dressing room could use some upgrading,but really,does the opposing team need to be comfortable??...South Fulton will be moving in to a brand spanking new stadium with a track and I think new weight room and dressing rooms....Now we just need those amenities to equal wins....

Lake Co.'s facilities vastly improved this year with the addition of a 5,000 square foot fieldhouse. They have a large practice field (regulation size with goal post.) The game stadium is not that big but nice size for single A. It provides a great home field advantage.
