jusdontno
Don't think the Braves are done, but a loss tonight and I think it's over. Also agree Smoltz/Clemens is a matchup that deserves a sellout, esp in a playoff game. Don't count Smoltz out he's a warrier (as is Clemens) and can pitch deeper into game than Clemens. Give Smoltz 2 or 3 and I think the Braves win. Braves nned to get into Astros middle releif. Hope it doesn't rain, looking forward to what could be a classic. There's a huge difference between 1-1 and 2-0. I think Boston is in better shape to climb out of 0-2 because they are going home with Wake and Schill, but I wouldn't bet the ranch on another comeback. gotmilk?
If the Braves lose tonight, then the series is over!
Fuggly63
I hope the braves DO win tonight, and continue to win the series. As a Cards fan, I don't want to play the Astros. I think we will fair better against the Braves. Is the game really not sold out?!?!? My gosh, what happened to baseball in Atlanta? The Cubs even sold out their last few games, and they stink!!! jusdontno
Never bet against Smoltz. Came through with big game when Braves had to have one. Wish Roger had pitched better, was anticipating a more exciting game.. When Mccann hit the 3 run HR, you just knew Smoltz would take it to the house. Loved the pregame comments from Smoltz, Something like, I'm going to give you something to hit, just got to see if you can hit it. And you're never 100 percent this time of year, no excuses. Still think they should have started Smoltz in game 1.
