Oak Ridge Vs Farragut

I was at the Ooltewah/Oak Ridge game last week, and I didn't see anything but class from what as an understandable Oak Ridge crowd. They took a tough game on the chin and walked out with their heads held high.

 

I talked to some of the parents who were very complimentary of the Ooltewah football team and how far the program has come. They said they knew they were in for a fight, but just couldn't stop the steamroller that hit them in the second half.

 

I don't find that objectionable. I wish all programs and parents and teams responded so well.

Angelcoach is a goofball. He's one of those type people that want to give 9th place trophys in track so no one gets their feelings hurt. It's that socialist attitude that is the demise of this country. People like him don't aspire for greatness and don't understand the term proud. As a matter of fact, OR is one of several communities in Tennessee that has a superior school system, comminity, residents and athletic teams. It was great before angel was here and it will be great long after he's gone. Chumps like him are what really gives OR a bad name.

This one is a hard pick, this may be one of the best games played all year. I do think that Farragut will win just because of their passing game, and it just depend if oak ridge will be able to regain confidence after the loss to ooltewah. Go get em Farragut!!
