Oak Ridge Vs Farragut

For some reason i am pulling for the admirals in this one i just think that they have had an outstanding year. I didnt expect them to be this good this year. I want farragut to win but i would like to see Oak Ridge in the state final against Riverdale, because in my opinion they are the only team that has a standing chance against that team. Good luck to both teams!!!

If Oak Ridge and Riverdale meet, it would be in the 4th round not the state finals.

 

This should be a great game. Besides winning the district, I think that both teams have something to prove. Oak Ridge wants to rebound from last week, and Farragut, needs some redemption from the drubbing they suffered in last years playoff game after popping off at the mouth on how they should have beaten Oak Ridge in the regular season game.

 

In the end I think Oak Ridge wins this one.

That's all the history Oak Ridge and Ooltewah have, I think. We could not have played with them back in the early to mid 90's not to mention 70's and 80's. You have got to remember Ooltewah has not had a good football program for very many years. But since this region has been in exsistance they have held their own against the Cats.

That's it! Ooltewah and Oak Ridge have only played five times ever and Ooltewah also has had good teams in the past its just that the Cleveland's, McMinn, Bradley, Rhea, and Red Bank where at their peek and the Owls were just emerging. These teams were that good the teams that the Owls faced since moving to 3A in 1987 then a jump to 5A in 2000 have 9 State Championships this includes Riverdale, Cleveland, Marion County, Red Bank, and Sevier County. The Owls were also known for bringing the wood and then some.

I think this is a good match up and I think it should be a high scoring game. I posted here earlier, and I know everyone knows who I am rooting for considering I play for Ooltewah... But I think Oak Ridge will win in a close, high scoring affair.... But best of luck to you Admirals! GO FARRAGUT!!

OR wins in this one. Farragut hasnt a strong running like the one OR has. OR has faced stingy defenses already (DB) in the season and know what it takes to put points on the board.S.Gulmire goes over the 5000 yard mark in the first half.

You must have not read the Oak Ridger today. Farragut has two good running backs, one has rushed for over 900 yds and the other 800 yds. Sounds like a strong running game to me.

 

I think Oak Ridge will be up to the challenge, though. We should be in for a good game.

Nope, not ashamed. Quite proud. Anyone who thinks OR "picks on" teams, doesn't understand football (or life). To have a proud, somewhat superior attitude, comes with success. No matter what the arena. Be successful, be proud of your accomplishments. The two go hand in hand. I think the players and coaches (that would be S-t-e-v-e-n-s) have handled winning (and a loss) with dignity and class. Odds are more people will agree with me than AngelCoach.

Angelcoach is a goofball. He's one of those type people that want to give 9th place trophys in track so no one gets their feelings hurt. It's that socialist attitude that is the demise of this country. People like him don't aspire for greatness and don't understand the term proud. As a matter of fact, OR is one of several communities in Tennessee that has a superior school system, comminity, residents and athletic teams. It was great before angel was here and it will be great long after he's gone. Chumps like him are what really gives OR a bad name.
