Best Highschool Stadium

Franklin County has by far the nicest stadium that ive been to. That place prolly sits 7-10k. Cant imagine how much money was spent on that stadium along with the school, very nice campus no doubt

Bud, everything you say is true but try sitting on the visitors side. No restrooms or until this year no concession stand, except in one endzone. Still ain't bad though.

Still a great place to play ever if you don't beat the Indians.

Been to Linclon Co. once, great place.

Still there just ain't no better place than home "THE SHIP" in Oak Ridge.

How many stadiums have the new aritfical turf (they may call it field turf)? I was told that MBA was going to put it in after their season but I don't know if that is true. I do know that teams in PA, TX and CA are going to it over natural grass. It only makes since when you have varsity football, jv football, freshmen football, mens & womens soccer, and mens & womens lax all using the same field.

By far the Big Brick House of Sam Davis stadium in Giles County is the nicest and when the crowd gets goin one of the hardest to play at.

Going with just teams from East TN as Ive not seen any from the West end besides Waverly's. Got to totally agree about DB's field. It is a nice place as long as you arent a visitor. Maryville and Oak Ridge are the top two in East TN to me. Top notch teams, and the atmosphere at both are great.

Tennessee High's Stone Castle in Bristol is a unique historical stadium. Brown/Childress Stadium in Elizabethton has a great small town feel on a football Friday night.

I really like warren county's stadium (although i might be just a little bit partial, having played there for 4 years)

 

 

Thats a joke right? Unless WC has built a new stadium in the last 4 years, then it is one of the worst stadiums I have ever been to. We played Warren County (we were in the same region) when I was in high school and I absolutely dreaded going there. It was VERY run down when I went there. Here's hoping they at least have renovated that place.

I've played at Rhea Co. and it's no where near as majestic as playing at Maryville is. Even as a visitor I felt the magic in the air. It reminds me of a small college.

i agree it may not be the biggest but it is what high school football is about. i will never forget the central game last year in playoff hope to see it again
