Makes sense to me. Wastes time and money.

Yea, I understand what you are saying. My dad made almost the same comment on the way back from Walker Valley, he said that he would rather not go to the playoffs than have to play Maryville first round, because of the gas money, and the $7 dollars to get in, and of course its cold outside, especailly when your chances to win are very very slim. But, if you take care of business in the season, you want have to worry about it. Go Region 4-4A, and good luck against the much stronger region 3-4A...Go out there and make some noise!!!!

I have just one thing to say-----101 yards in penalties for White County!!!!. Most of these were personal fouls. Do you think we could just for once play a game without all that garbage? I believe we could have been 8-2 if not for the penalties. It cost us the game last night.

THAT THE WAY IT HAS BEEN ALL YEAR.

I would not underestamate Hammondtree, he's got the coaching experience and knowlege to beat Central. I don't think he has the studs but if it came down to coaching, Hammondtree will win.

If you think Hammontree is a better coach than Helton, then you obviously are high on something or you know very little about coaching.

    • Siegel Middle School is looking for a Head Wrestling Coach. This will be the 3rd year that the school has had a program, but the Stars have had a middle school team for a while now. This is program is established and has a club team (Stars) feeding it with wrestlers.    Siegel High School is looking for an assistant coach. Again, this program is growing with talent every year. This past year we had 2 state placers.    If interested you can send an email to starstnwrestlingclub@gmail.com or freemand@rcschools.net

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
