Should be a great game. Coalfield has Turned the ball over 11 times in two games, but yet found some way to win. Coalfields D is overlooked they have had their backs against the walls many times the year in the playoffs. Should be a great game cause I know its hard to contain speed for a whole game (LIKE BD) and I know that Harriman has one thing SPEED. Hampton will be at home which gives them an edge. Good luck to both teams hope noone gets hurt.

ok buddy are you ok? little bit late...but um hampton won so guess you were right in some way... ;)

Pretty good whoops from each team. What are you talking about late hit? I didn't see any but I was also Behind the Cloudland bench. Hope the dude is ok.

Talking about the Hampton game, several late hit for Harriman. Hampton did their hitting in the playing field.

OH My bad. I thought you meant Coalfield and Cloudland. I know what you people mean Harriman will hit you when your outta bounds. They broke Anthony Rodger's eye after the whistle blew. Does anyone think there should be a more drastic actions taken than just giving a team 15 yards?

Ok I was starting to get a little confused myself.

kinda but not really...they have to live with what they did...that everyone saw them as a cheater and not a leader...that they showed no honor in playing ...

If they do it repeadedly ,they should eject players. Win with class , lose with class.

I agree with both of you but what about the guys that don't care. And I've heard of coaches putting in players do that kind of stuff. Even though they are cheaters in their eyes a win is a win no matter how you get it, and when it comes right down to it; it sadly is true. No matter who should've own what the scoreboard says at that final buzzer is all that counts.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
