Defense, Defense, Defense. Hampton played tremendous tonight and showed why they should get respect. Harriman in red zone 5 times and come away with no points. Great job guys, Roop played the game of his life and Townsend ran his heart out. And did anybody notice that #47 was back tonight. Potter wreaked havoc on defense and ran the ball with determination. Good luck next week. Anybody got any clue on Coalfield, i.e, what do they do, how do they like to play?

Great Runningback/Linebacker, Brandon Davis. Well-coached,with Kries being there for over a decade. Hampton will be the slight favorite at Home.

Should be a great game. Coalfield has Turned the ball over 11 times in two games, but yet found some way to win. Coalfields D is overlooked they have had their backs against the walls many times the year in the playoffs. Should be a great game cause I know its hard to contain speed for a whole game (LIKE BD) and I know that Harriman has one thing SPEED. Hampton will be at home which gives them an edge. Good luck to both teams hope noone gets hurt.

Pretty good whoops from each team. What are you talking about late hit? I didn't see any but I was also Behind the Cloudland bench. Hope the dude is ok.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
