TheGreatDevion
I have to say Bundy and Felix. How many points did he allow the whole tournament....It was either 0 or

Trashcanman
I agree totally with you on Johnson. I just hadn't watched him enough. Definitely the real deal. After this weekend, I'll make a revision: 1-Felix-Does he make everything look just insanely easy or what 2-Mansen-Totally dedicated, great postion, great kid 3-Ben Johnson-Solid like Mansen 4-Usary-Slick, conditioned, and poised 5-Demetrius Johnson-I had an inkling but now I believe 6-Brandon Wright-Impressive in the finals 7- Courtney Coffee-What a specimen-and physical-he punished his guy in the finals 8-Travis Creagan-Never lost his cool, found a way to win his second 9-Jay Adamson-Looked a little more human in the finals 10-Simpson-Impressive in the finals as well Soddy 1, Bradley 2, Notre Dame 3, Science Hill 5, Ooltewah 6, Kingston 8-Way to go right side
katonicSID
Coffey... TWO TIME STATE CHAMPION
hardball03
Coffey... TWO TIME STATE CHAMPION It was good to see him try a "slide by". He's now working on another takedown. A single leg snatch will not get him beyond state champion.....I'm amazed he's gotten this far with it. His strength will be matched at some point and he'll need more technique. As for now, enjoy the ride.
luchador
Coffey... TWO TIME STATE CHAMPION 2 time state champion who almost got pinned in his semi-final match. He only won that match 10-8 and fought off his back for a good portion of the second period. This does not qualify him as one of the best. Felix, Bundy, D. Johnson, J.M. Simpson and Manson (in no particular order) all were the class of the tournament. No one touched any of them. They are the best 5 in the state. I will not rank them, but you can. BigRedBlooded
If I didn't know all the hype on Corey I would have thought he was just a good wrestler after watching his last 2 matches at SD. I would put the BA 112 above Corey. No offense Blaster, but that's a candidate for one of the dumber claims made on this board this year (from page 8 of this thread, by MasterBlaster--that info didn't carry). I greatly anticipate Cash's future, but saying he's better than Manson now? Unbelievable. Edited February 21, 2006 by BigRedBlooded

nawdawg
Especially when Cash didn't even win state this year. Congrats Bailey Whitaker. Exactly...I watched the match between Cash and Whitaker, and, while it was a good match, it did not look like the Baylor kis struggled much to pull off that win. Now, while saying Cash is better then Manson, thats a stretch. Quite a large one, actually. But Cash is a good wrestler and I look forward to watching him in future years. Faith+1
I'd say either Hendersonville's Jeff Jarrett or Jefferson County's Kane. In the old days, I'd say Jerry "the King" Lawler or "the Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony ( I think he was from Bucksnort).
pointblankrange
Based on what I saw at the state tournament: 1. Kelly Felix 2. Demetrious Johnson 3. Corey Manson 4. Ben Johnson 5.
