mtsu82
What a precious story! I just finished reading the article and I can tell you my eyes are full of tears! What an inspiration Kari is for all of us. Kari has a beautiful smile that lights up a whole room. I remember when we played Perry County at Zion and heard Kari's story, we knew immediately how special she is....to her school and team, as well as us. What a wonderful example of "Love", Commitment, and Dedication to her team, coach, and all of Perry County! Its great you had a dream come true!!! When you watch these kids play you feel a bond even if they are an opponent! This is just another example of putting "Life" into perspective...real fast! I love these small communities in our area. I think we have the "BEST" in the state of Tennessee!! I knew Perry County's team had something "special" ......and now I know........it's a precious young lady named "Kari"! Kari, please know you will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. I know first hand how wonderful Vanderbilt is...it saved both of my girls. You are going to love the care at the new Childrens Hospital! (One of mine just had surgery in November.) I pray that you will have the courage, strength and faith that you have inspired in others as you fight this disease. Know that I will also pray for your fathers recovery too! May God bless you and your family!! Just a little love from a Zion family who cares!!! PS- One of our daughters named is spelled like yours!!
