Yeah, Bolivar wins easy. If you're from Middle TN and haven't seen the Bolivar, Liberty, Haywood, or Mitchell teams play, then you have no clue what you guys are in for. We can use Sycamore as an example........supposed to be one of the better teams from the mid-state area (26-3), and Bolivar beats them by 30+ in regions. This year the basketball in West TN is just absolutely ridiculous, and no disrespect to any of the middle TN or East TN teams, but overall they just aren't on the level that these teams are on.

Do not underestimate David Lipscomb's basketball program. This game is going to be much better then what people are believing it to be. Boliviar has a good, soild team and an excellent player in Kemp.m However, it takes ore then one individual player to win a game. Expect more then a cake walk because if that is all that you are thinking is going to happen, then Bolivar is in for a long night. Good luck to both teams. It will be a good, close game and may the best team win.

Bolivar win this one by 15-25 points they will decide that.

Bolivar has been here b 4 and knows what it takes to win the big game.

Smelly saying thatit takes more thatn one player, Bolivar has Kemp, Chism, Rhodes, Madden, Reaves, Griffin, and Crisp that can all play. Not to mention one of the best coaches in the state.

So well see if they only got 1 player.

Cant wait to see B-Town in the State Tourny again. Too bad dont get to see Doc Shelton this year.

I think David Lipscomb will get Bolivar Central a fight for their life...DL won't just roll over and die...heres some things I think DL must do in order to have success...

1. Attack Chism...get him in foul trouble early...without him, the chances at the boards will be about even...DL MUST WIN THE BOARDS!!!

2. Get in the whole team's head...this will require heavy participation on the part of The Bomb Squad...mess with their heads from the moment they step off the bus to the moment the final buzzer sounds...everybody says rough crowds don't bother Bolivar Central...lets find out if there is any truth to that...

3. Could have some success with a Box & One on Kemp...good defense to run on good shooters...try it out for a quarter or so and if no success is found, abandon it to a straight zone...

4. SLOW DOWN!!! Play the half-court game...make Bolivar play YOUR style of ball, not theirs...

5. Take smart shots...don't rush your shots...wait on a good look, then take it...and if Chism gets in foul trouble, penetrate, penetrate, penetrate...find out how good Bolivar is without their big man...

6. Finally, and most importantly, if yall are leading/tied/close with Bolivar late in the game, really slow the game down...if you tie or get a lead, hold the ball...some people call Coach Shelton stupid for doing this, but all this will do is frustrate Bolivar and make them make bad decisions...

I have no care of who wins this game, but these are just some things that are essential for DL if they want to win...

Word on the street is the game has been moved to Allen Arena at Lipscomb University instead of being played at the high school. Originally each school received 625 tickets each, and if you've ever been to a Bolivar game, then you know that 625 just won't cut it. Spread the word.

Everyone knows that Bolivar is able to run away in this game.BUT they have to come out and play hard.It doesnt matter that Kemp is going to Memphis, Chism is going to Tennessee, and Madden can throw down like crazy. If Bolivar doesn't have more points on the board when the final horn goes off they lose.
