HTV
Now that May 12th date is one to mark in the old calendar. Time to start sizing up the competition. Powell is scheduled to visit Oak Ridge on that day for a scrimmage, ORC.
LEONARDSLOSERS
The Powell Oak Ridge scrimmage used to be a good one. Powell used to holds its own and then some against them. Good test for the New Head Coach. He better find some skill players quick though. With last years success, OR will have probably 200 players out for spring. LEONARDSLOSERS
Mo West is normally a very physical team. That is how Woods likes it. I will be there to see the two collide. I want to see if the Admirals step up and fix what they lost off last years team. Until I see some new leadership step up, I am gonna have to go with the Trojans. Don has tallent, speed, size, and great coaching.

There is some decent skill talent at Powell. The problem is that it is mostly young skill talent. Josh Huffaker is back at tailback and Jordan Lakin and Jordan Allen at fullback, but outside of those three, the rest of the backfield will likely be sophomores. There will be one senior and a couple of juniors who have played some wideout, but again, the best talent is younger. Spring practice will definitely be interesting this year. bounder
Paul Bingham is rumered to be heir appearent to Gulmire at tailback. Don't look for OR to show anything in a scrimmage. Stevens works on new plays and not the stuff they know how to run. He also tries new people at new positions. Kind of a novel idea.... try new stuff in a scrimmage and see who can play different positions.
OakRidgeCat
Paul Bingham is one tuff dude. If he stays in the weight room and stays disciplined he will give Gulmire a serious run on stats for a single season. Go Wildcats Go
