soulman
Luck had nothing to do with it, the score should have been 5 or 6 to nill. RHS went into cruise mode with 15 minutes left and there were no threats from the men in blue. Look forward to seeing Cookeville again on Thursday, 7-AAA (4-AAA) Region finals, congrats to Cookeville on their win! GO WARRIORS!
mjuhb
i was told shelbyville put a good fight the 1st half and missed 3 golden chances to score cookville came to play tonight but tullahoma was making the same mistakes they've made all year it didn't help that tullahoma's best player got 2 yellow's 22 minutes into the game the ref's in that game were terrible the cookville coach got carded but he did have a good argument

Whitey
i was told shelbyville put a good fight the 1st half and missed 3 golden chances to score cookville came to play tonight but tullahoma was making the same mistakes they've made all year it didn't help that tullahoma's best player got 2 yellow's 22 minutes into the game the ref's in that game were terrible the cookville coach got carded but he did have a good argument I agree with your assessment that Tullahoma did not c ome to play tonight. I have only seen themplay three times this year and tonight's game was the worst showing of the three times. They would have a very good build up from the back and set the table for the guys up top to do something only to blow away their opportunities with poor shot selections or cracking a shot when they should have been passing. The decision making and getting beat to the balls was what beat them tonight. I have to disagree with you about the refs. They were not terrible and it was a fair game. The coach had to of deserved the card. I have known the AR for years that got upset with the coach both as a ref and a coach and he is one of the most laid back and calm people I have ever known. I have yelled at him before and gone up to him after the game an apologized and he just would laugh and said that he knew it was part of the game. For him to have gotten upset at the coach yelling at him, the coach must have yelled some pretty good thing or things. I could not hear what he was yelling from the other side of the field but it must have been good. I am one of the most critical folks you will see of refs and I will tell you that it was an evenly called game.

Shelbyville did do much after the first 10 minutes. Edited May 17, 2006 by BlackmanSoccerDad
