What? I am a FCS fan but to say that we should have knocked them off last year. The playoff game was only close of the scoreboard. We had two LUCKY plays that allowed us to score. They ran the ball on us all night...look at the numbers! Now that being said, TC was great last year, and they can compete this year. They don't have some of the key ingredients to make a championship run. FCS does!! So yes, TC will continue to dominate the game of football; they just might not win a ring every year. TC goes 12-2 this year! Both losses coming from FCS!!

Friendship's been talking about how they're gonna beat TC for years!

They haven't done it yet. I wanna see it done,until then I'll keep going with TC.They've proven it over & over again.

If or when TC goes to 2-A they'le compete there too,even with Alcoa.

Thing is,with the way Blount County is booming I don't see how there's any way Alcoa will stay 2-A.Their school's got to be growing just like Maryville,Heratige & WB.

Trousdale has a top notch program and will always be a contender . Presaeason #1 has to go to Troudale. Champs until someone knocks them off. They may not be as good as they were last season, but they beat all the 1a teams badly. I do believe some teams will give them a better game this season.

i believe friendship is the odds on favorite next year, even for state. but it's going to be a hard road to go to beat trousdale twice. heck it's hard enough to beat any team twice. i'm not saying it can't be done i'm just saying that it will be difficult.

ha ha you make me laugh. let us say that a football team is like a person. the coach is always the head and the overall talent is the body and the dominant players and leaders are the legs and arms. TC has lost its arms and legs. there is no way that they can dominate like they did last year. i admit last year they were the best team but this year i don't even think they will be in the top five or maybe even ten. if your thinking of a repeat dream on.

Trousdale could of and would of beat Alcoa and won the 3a state. You had to see this team play. I have seen Alcoa play and Trousdale would of beat them. I don't think they will win state this year but, they will be in the game if its 2a 3a or what ever. Go Hampton Bulldogs!

I know it was the first game of the year when Trousdale beat your team, what was it 14 to 12? but, Trousdale was rolling at the end of the year also.

Yes it was the first game of the season and it was 14-12. LA totally dominated the game except on special teams where TC got a big punt return and a big kickoff return that set up both of their scores(if I remember correctly). Total yardage was like LA 350-400 to TC's 150-200. I didn't see any more TC games until the championship, but if the had played like they did against LA, they would have finished #5 or #6 in region 2-3A! Yeah they were rolling but they didn't beat teams like Carter, AE, Catholic, Notre Dame, or Lipscomb, all of which IMO, would have beaten them.

I will give credit to LA they were the cinderella team and did win state. But I still think Trousdale could of won in 1a 2a and 3a and I am not a Trousdale fan {Hampton Bulldogs #1}

I,ll make you stop laughing, I,m not even a Trousdale fan. I just give respect where respect is due. They will still have plenty of body parts to compete with anyone in 1a. I doubt they will be as dominate and could very well lose to someone in the playoffs, but if they do ,it will be to one of the best teams in 1a.
