I not only saw him play but had to block Danny Spradlin from Maryville (1976)(Tennessee/Dallas Cowboys). He played linebacker and I played center and guard. We played against each other for about 8 years. He was a hand full to say the least.

John Henderson - Pearl Cohn

 

Springfield was at Pearl Cohn (great food) and a Pearl Cohn running back was being tackled, well Henderson grabbed his own player and tried to carry him down the field. Of course the officials called the play dead and gave him a penalty.
