im pretty sure that maples won the 40 last year. and as the linemen go d-wood ran a 4.6 last year not quite sure where he's at now. kick is deffinitely taka and brent should win the pass. i have no idea who will win the punt the wb kid is good.

Actually, Blount's Brad Walker won the 40 last year ... I'm not sure if Maples ran for MHS. Year before that, I believe Osborne from WB won (Walker was gimpy) and year before that, I think Walker won it.

My sources tell me that Maples won't be Maryville's participant this year in the 40.

Maybe....I realize that ALL Alcoa players are of D-1 caliber Tom but Tucker was/is quicker, faster, and a much better lineman than Avery ever dreamed of being. I will go one better....Tucker is the best defensive/offensive lineman to ever wear the red and black. ;)

I doubt seriously that Avery dreamed of being like Tucker???? Come on, wouldn't he strive to be like; um, maybe an NFL lineman and not an MTSU lineman?????

He got a terrible jump, but he was right behind Wiggington at the finish. I was sitting near the finish line.

Kyrus did get a bad start , probably thinking about all the false starts last year. He almost caught Wiggington at the finish. :D

Have you ever heard of closing speed?? He did have a bad start, but I expected that from him. He did close on everyone and finish second! If you didn't see that, then you may need classes sir! I give the Heritage kid credit, cause he had a great race, but Kyrus did stink everyone else up!

    • Same with Eisfelder from Providence not even getting a look in DII 1A.   But to me the biggest head scratcher is Collins from Lookout Valley. He wasn't even voted the best pitcher or player on his own team, a team that lost like 20 baseball games. Mind blowing.
    • Whispers abound suggesting that Robbie Atwood has been observed surreptitiously shadowing the erstwhile football coach on numerous occasions. Does such conduct align with the standards of acceptability?
    • Is it conceivable that BJ West will maintain his ardor if it necessitates forgoing attendance at his progeny's culminating year of scholastic endeavors? Such a scenario appears implausible upon closer scrutiny.
    • Wartburg heading to state for the first time in school history. Braylen Melton (sophomore) threw a 1 hitter today against North Greene.
    • I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few months back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
