Most Improved Teams in West TN

Who do you think will be the most improved teams in West TN? I think Jackson North Side will be much better. They are returning a lot of starters on offense, even though the backfield is young. They have an excellent shot at surprising some people and making the playoffs.

I heard this week that Humboldt had some people quit so they could concentrate on baseball. I know some of their best players played baseball too, but I do not know any names of those that quit.

TCA played extremely well Friday night. IF they can keep those players on the field all season, they will surprise some people. Nathan Cole should be back on OL soon. Watch for Joel Essenberg as a breakout player for the Lions. Hewitt Tomlin could be the best QB in town.

I talked to Coach Craig about this. He did have some players quit to concentrate on baseball, but it wasn't anyone who played that much.

Fayette Ware

 

i saw fayette ware play the other night against us and they have improved alot since last year...that offense they ran was pretty good for them they are very quick and athletic

I have to say by what i saw at the jamboree, i thought Northside came out looking really good. They was fired up and ready to play so if they can keep that up every game you will see a big difference. TCA look pretty good also.

Fayette Ware is an example of what a program can do with the right person in charge. That school hadn't won a football game in almost three years prior to this coach coming in. Now they are competitive, fun to watch, fill the stands for home games.
