I am just going to throw a wrench into the situation. I know that the stars would have to align just right for it to happen but if Coffee were to beat Lincoln. they would be Coffee 3-1 and Lincoln 2-1, Warren to beat Franklin. it would be Warren 2-2 and Franklin 1-4, If Cookeville beats Lincoln and Warren Beats Coffee then there would be a three way Tie at 3-2 in the region. Cookeville beating Franklin Co. The standings would be like so.

Cookeville 5-0

Coffee Co. 3-2

Lincoln Co. 3-2

Warren Co. 3-2

Franklin Co.1-4

Cumberland Co. 0-5

Interesting, but I don't think the planets will align like that. If they do, Lincoln Co. would be 2nd place, Coffee 3rd and Warren 4th based on the overall records.

Sometimes, you just can't go by stats or what the game should look like on paper. Coffee County is due a big win. Friday night is their night to shine - book it!

If Lincoln Co.'s offense is clicking, CC does not have a chance. Lincoln Co.'s defense continues to keep them in the game!

Wow, that is very insightful and well thought out. I'm confused though. That's nothing new. It's great that Coach Price is keeping the boys focused this week. They need to remain focused for the rest of the season. This is probably the biggest game they'll play this year and I hope to see them win it. Best of luck to both.

Coffee County has a chance............going into the pit they are definitely the underdog-maybe even a double digit dog but they have a chance..........Raiders will have to play their best game of the year no doubt.........0 turnovers and 0 big plays allowed..........Raiders are hard to stop on offense unless they stop themselves but the d will have to contain the Falcons all night long............hope they can.

I'm still waitin for one of those RUKIDNME BCS formula's to this one lol!

Ask and you shall receive. Ok, I want Coffee County to win this one, I really do. I want them to finish second and host a playoff game and actually get that elusive playoff win. So here is how I see it shaking out:

Only one like opponent and of course that is Franklin County. Coffee County picked up a 31-10 win, but a couple of late scores made it a little more lopsided than it was and it was at Coffee County. Lincoln County a 10-6 win on the road. I would grade Coffee more so about 11-14 points better in their game. Lincoln was four better but on the road, add 7 if they were at the pit and it is a seven point swing due to the home crowd and the referees when you play there and the are about 11 points better as well.

A little deeper, Lincoln County over Warren County by 17. Cookeville over Warren County by 10, which favors Lincoln over Cookeville, but Cookeville beat Coffee by 10, but shouldn't have been that much so cut it in half to five and start from there.

5+7 for it being at home makes it 12, minus four for the Raiders getting some players back from injury that should pay huge dividends makes it 8. Both teams with two weeks to prepare and look at film favors Lincoln County and this one is huge, probably a five point swing makes it 13. Nice average score I say Lincoln County 27, Coffee County 14.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
