The worst thing for a team is for their fans to show mutiny against each other. All of you CC fans need to unite for the team. Everyone has their own opinions about players, coaches, fans, etc......but don't let the fueding take away from the common goal....supporting the Raiders. 5afootball fan has been a constant on the boards. He has supported the CC team when others bailed on them. He should be applauded for hanging in there thru the tuff times. I know this b/c he and I have battled before on here!

I dont think there is any mutiny by the fans. Coffee Co. has some of the most loyal fans in the state, if you have been going to the games many years you would know that we follow the Raiders, even through all the real bad years. Now we know that it will be a game when we leave home on Friday night, and like our chances in every game we play. So you can bet we will not turn on them now.

As for this game you can bet the Coach Price will have a good game plan in place and have the boys ready. The week off has been good it helped gets some boys healthy, which we needed. Having Harris with two hands will be a big plus, and Irons will give the defence a big boost. I am not taking anything away from the other boys, they all still have a role, just these boys are seniors and have been with Price since he got here.

Look for the game to be close in the first half, then Coffee pulls away late.

Very well stated. I think with this bye week and Coffee Co. coming off a big regional win against Franklin Co., they'll be ready for Lincoln Co., and I honestly believe that Coffee Co. can go into this game and come out with the victory. Coach Price will be ready for the Falcons as well as the Raider football team and Raider Nation. I know I'm pumped for the game, just reading this forum has done that much...lol.

 

5A Fan, how many more yards does Le-Hawkins and Goins need to break 1,000? Or did Goins get his 1,000yds at the Franklin Co. game? What's the lastest on the injury report as well?

 

I'm not going to predict a score, I just wanna see a good game between two quality football teams. I've heard some people around Manchester saying that this game is compared to a Tyson-Holyfield fight...before Tyson bit the ear...lol Does anyone else agree to that besides me?

i dont know about Tyson and Holyfield, but it will be a fight to the end. i really feel that the team is pulling together, they have had so many key players hurt. And Price has never made any excusses, he just keeps pushing, that is what you have to like about him. The boys will respond next week and bring home a win, i really believe that. Price has done a good job in keeping the boys minds where it needs to be, and that is the winning the conference, i know we will have to have some help from other teams, but you cant worry about that, you just have to keep playing, and that we will, You can bet on it.

As far as being compared to Tyson, Holyfield i hope we get the ear and the win...

Tyson got the ear and got disqualified - and the reason he got the ear was that he was losing. The Falcons just want the win! :thumb:

 

Both sides are going to be pumped up for this - I'm banking on the Falcons being pumped up more!

Possibly, during Elam's senior year when the Raiders traveled to Lincoln Co. and won to clinch 2nd in the region. But I'm far less knowledgeable than others on here. I'm just guessing.

 

no two in 2003 when we beat franklin county was the last time because FC was aheavy favorite and that game us 3rd in the region.

but 1997 was a great game and was a huge win.

I still think this is going to be a the game of the year in 3-5A. CC should have beat Cookeville and would have had it not been for injuries but that is in the past and this game is next week should be a great one.

 

 

Yea and a frog wouldn't bump his butt if he had wings. CC lost to Cookeville becuase they scored fewer points :thumb: LC wins providing CC is in good health then LC still wins.

      And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…

      Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.

      Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.

      After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.

      Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
