Ooltewah, State Champs?

I never said Ooltewah would win the state championship. I want them to and feel like they have all the tools to do it but I never said they would. I still don't understand why you think Ooltewah is so bad.... They have accomplished a lot this year. They have 4 returning starters total from last year. No one imagined that they would be 9-0. Who is a state contender if you think Ooltewah isn't? I guess it can't be any of the teams from region 2-5a since Ooltewah has already beaten them.....

I see the 1st and 2nd round as follows:

DB over WB, Sev Co over McMinn, Farragut over Bearden, Ooltewah over SHill

DB over Farragut, Sev Co over Ooltewah.

Region 1's 1 and 2 are better than anything Region 2 has to offer.

Region 2 5A has been on top for the past 3 years.

Region 1-2 Avg. position = 2

Region 3-4 Avg. position = 5

Region 5-6 Avg. position = 6.5

Region 7-8 Avg. position = 6

 

Well you can get the picture. Region 1-4 has the hardest road ahead of them period point blank. Momentum plays a big factor for the West part of the bracket as for the East you could say they play 2 State Championship games before the real one JMO.

Not live. Saw a great deal of the WB game vs. Ooltewah on film. Trust me I am not William Blount Fan after the past two years but the best team that night did not win the game.

 

I don't want to argue but just because I have not seen the Owls play this year means nothing when you look at stats and past facts. Play-Off football is very different than the reg. season and Ooltewah has never been beyound the second round in recent history or ever as far as I know, and if you think that is a non factor suit yourself.

 

ooltewah actually made the semi-finals in 2000 or 2001 i'm not sure which but that is as far as they have gone
