Realistically...any one...of the 4 teams left...has a chance to be there. It's just whomever plays mistake free football in these two games. SC is due to do that.

It will be a tough thing to go to the "swamp" and get a win. If the Owls play well, they have a shot at getting one back from Boyd. Boyd ended SC's season a year ago at Carthage. I'm hoping we return the favor.

 

Wouldn't suprise me if the field is still under water from last friday night!

I have already made the drive down for the Tyner game. If it would have rained much more you could have wakeboarded in there. Not a bad trip at all though.

Now that would be something if the Owls played Alcoa in the HOLE. With all connections between the head coaches and Rankin being from Carthage. I believe there's a good chance that it could happen. But don't get the cart before the horse as the old saying goes.

Yeah...since their field is in such shape...and ours is in very good shape...let's just play it in Carthage. I'm sure Boyd wouldn't mind.

I would think ours is in as good of shape as any that has a grass field. I expected it to be worse last night. The footing was reasonably good.

Boyd does have a nice new facility. Stands are all new, visitor side may be a tad smallish for us. I have seen us need double that. I hope we travel that many this week. Fieldhouse and concession stand area looked very nice. It will be a good trip.

I believe that the visitors side seats 1100. No one has filled it up yet. I hope Smith Co. is the first to do it. A full visitors side just makes the atmosphere so much better.
