Before you get a rematch with Smith County, SC has to win against Boyd, and you all have to beat a very good York team. Which I think you all probably will do. One game at a time Owls.

Smith County will host in that situation because you finished second in the region and York finished third.

If you look at the TSSAA web site and the brackets York would be the home team if both get that far, so keep up the good work region 4.

It would appear that way on the brackets, but the regulations say that if two teams from the same region play in the quarterfinals, the team with the higher seed in that region is the host team.

 

The "H" in the third round of the bracket means that if a team from region 3 plays a team from region 4 in the third round, the region 4 team would host, regardless of seed. (Next year, the H will be on the upper half of the bracket, and reg. 3 would host.)

 

So...if Boyd wins, they would play AT the winner of Westmoreland/York. If Smith Co. wins, they would either host York or play at Westmoreland.
