just got a text message that said blackman lost by 3 to smyrna (dang to smyrna :thumb:), didn't get a specific score or anything sorry

I went: It was pitiful. Dang Freshman coach was coaching..he stinks..freshmen team went 0-15 last year with him at the head. Turnham had his appendix removed. Smyrna shut us down with a 3-2..Blake Bragg and Mimms were so frustrated. Blake was yelling at everyone. Coach had to calm him down. Blake did dunk all over dude though. It was BADDDDDDDDD.

Expect us to lose out until Turnham comes back.

The McEachern coach has scouted Riverdale twice and talked to at least two other area coaches.

looks like he's really determined to win this game, coming up from GA to see riverdale play twice. maybe he will underestimate us considering riverdale has not been at full strength and without a full roster. i have no idea if they are a solid team or not, guess i will find out :thumb:

White Co. played Antioch AT Cumberland County tonight. Antioch won 73-64. Antioch is VERY good. Both post players{#31 and #33} are about 6'7" and are hard to defend. Their guard play is very good as well. I don't have the final stats, but I would guess White Co. made about 10 free throws and missed about 15. JJ Taylor also fouled out in the 3rd quarter which didn't help matters. White Co. led in the 1st half by about 6 or 8 points, but trailed at the half by 3 points. Antioch{in my opinion} is probably better than any team in 7AAA. They are definitely a top 10 team in the state. B)

 

I am actually encouraged by this loss. I know White Co. can hang in there with the better teams in the state if they play well. B)

 

White Co. plays Meigs Co. tomorrow{Sat.} afternoon AT Cumberland co. at 4:00 pm.

Just out of curiousity..... did Oakland actually schedule York or is that just what was handed to them since they were playin in the Bridgestone Classic??

 

Pretty sure Oakland was just given York, pretty sure they had no choice. Havent seen you at either of Oakland's games yet, when ya gonna come out and watch and real team, and more importantly, that awesome #24 :thumb:

Oakland plays Northeast Friday night and they play Father Ryan Saturday night. Rashuan Walker from Northeast is a great player who dropped 36 on Harpeth last night and Father Ryan is a post oriented team. Their posts set tons of screens. :thumb:

 

 

The Stars will give Oakland a run for their money. :thumb:

 

Yeah that walker really gave Oakland some points, he cut loose for a whoopin 7 points in a 30-64 loss. People talk about Oakland and how they score, but their defense will keep them in the game against anyone. For the star's sake, I hope you arent regularly so far off on your predictions

      I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

      Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co. My dark horse candidate

      The baseball field is the baseball field. There are no clear favorites. It is a central location so that is why it is the site. This gets talked about every year and it is always the same answer.
